We finally got our finished basement finished and completed after three long, tedious months. Just recently, our once unfinished concrete basement is now a finished carpeted entertainment center. With the screen and the seating in place, all we were missing was the home theater system that would transform our basement into a home theater. As avid movie goers and watchers, my family and I always knew what we wanted to do with the big empty space down below when we bought our home 3 years ago. Now with everything but a home theater system in place, our dreams will soon be realized.

HT-D6730W – A Friend Recommended It To Us

I was searching for the best possible home theater system available. One that can cover many ground, comes with ample surround sound speakers and looks good in any room. A friend of mine suggested the Samsung HT-D6730W home theater system. He had an older version of it, but said it worked great, so what more the new and improved models. I decided to give it a go and purchase the system in the following days. Once we got the Samsung home theater system down in the basement, setting it up took less than an hour.

Setup Was Easy

What took the longest was finding the perfect place to set up the speakers. HT-D6730W comes with a slim, symmetrical slot-in player that looks very attractive. In addition to those, you have two small speakers and two tall speaker towers with swivel heads. They’re not like the traditional boxed and bulky kind either. They really add a touch of sophistication to our new theater room. It also has two swivel head smaller speakers, which would probably be ideal for mounting in the top corners of the wall. The two HDMI connections also help reduce clutter by minimizing the amount of wires being used. It really adds to the clean line effect of the home theater.

Other features of HT-D6730W would include Smart Home Theater and built in WiFi which gives you the ability to browse through hundreds of movie and show options on Netflix, Blockbuster, Hulu, Youtube, Pandora and all the other social media platforms. This really makes it convenient not having to shuffle through a bunch of discs to find a movie. With just a click of a button, all your selections are presented in front of you with the option to narrow down the choices and movie genres. This too, reduces clutter in the theater by removing the presence of Blu Ray discs and DVDs everywhere. You could also browse through websites, search online and on your TV, and access Samsung TV applications.
One of my children’s favorite features would have to be the 2D to 3D movie conversion. It allows them to watch their 2D DVDs in 3D.
