The reviews sold me on the Onkyo, and I’m thrilled I bought it. The sound is crystal clear, and like several people have claimed, Onkyo underrates their power numbers. This is a 50 watt receiver, and my old Kenwood was 100 watts. I’ve since learned that most companies stretch the truth on their power ratings, and this Onkyo is much more powerful than my Kenwood.

I bought this receiver as an upgrade from an LG Home Theater In-A-Box. I’ve yet to get my speakers installed (fully) but so far running three channels (Left Front, Right Front, Center) it’s been a breeze to set up.
I’m very pleased with this receiver. It sounds great after you run the Audyssey Auto Speaker Setup. I have it connected to my Bose Acoustimass 10 Series IV 5.1 Speaker System and I love the sound. It has great channel separation.
